We're
just a couple of people tired of
alumni sites charging us to keep in touch with our
classmates.
So,
we set up this site so our friends from high school could contact each
other without having to pay.
Greg Coles is
a 1971 graduate of Top-Hi and currently works in the Information
Technology Services department at Central Washington University.
After
graduating from Toppenish, Greg earned a B.A. in Economics from CWU,
then applied for and was accepted into the U.S.
Air Force Officer Training School. He received a commission as a
second lieutenant and spent four years underground as a Missile Combat
Crew Commander in South Dakota monitoring Minuteman II missiles.
Since getting out of the Air Force, he has worked at Memorial Hospital
and Horizon Distribution in Yakima, and has worked at CWU since
1999. Greg is married and lives with his
wife, Cheryl, in Yakima.
Kathi Myron Hoon
is a 1975 graduate of Top-Hi. She started her schooling in
Toppenish in 1962 when her father (Cliff Myron) accepted a teaching and
coaching position at Top-Hi. She went on to obtain her B.A. in
History at Eastern Washington University. Her main hobby is
genealogy (family history), so the opportunity to be involved with this
website to preserve Top-Hi's past and keep classmates connected is
"right up her alley." Kathi is married, has three young adult
children and works full time in the accounting department of a local
Yakima business.
